1) Read the chapters! Take reading notes, pay attention, and re-read a section if you don't understand
2) If pinched for time, pay attention to the introduction and the conclusion to each chapter. However, this will be most helpful if you have also read the chapter beforehand as a "refresher."
3) Use online sources! For 2019, John Greene has returned to do a "Crash Course European History" series! (Your teacher would be lying if he said he doesn't use them to "Freshen up" before a unit too.
4) Use the unit and period guides. This will be especially helpful before tests. Please DO NOT CONFUSE periods for units. The units are what we are testing by. The class is divided into 4 periods, but we are studying 9 units.
